Connecting the cables

Matching channels

Make sure that the cables correspond to the channels :

  • The left output from the preamplifier is connected to the power amplifier driving the left loudspeaker.
  • The right output from the preamplifier is connected to the power amplifier driving the right loudspeaker.

Connecting the speakers

Pay attention to the configuration of the speaker cables:

  • The left output from the amplifier drives the left speaker.
  • The right output from the amplifier drives the right speaker.

Warning

Respect speaker polarity: "+" to "+" (red), "-" to "-" (black).

XLR cables

Ensure that the XLR plugs are inserted correctly: the Naim logo should be facing upwards.
